It’s a must-try on wings for a fiery, flavorful kick! Sprinkle it over roasted potatoes, mix into burger patties, or use as a rub for grilled meats. It’s also great for adding a bold edge to scrambled eggs or avocado toast.

WINGS

Ingredients:

12 chicken wings (drums and flats)

1 ½ tablespoons of black pepper spice rub

1 tablespoon baking powder (for extra crispiness)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions:

Prep the Wings:

Pat the wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture (this helps with crispiness).

Place wings in a large bowl and toss with olive oil to lightly coat.

Season the Wings:

In a small bowl, mix the black pepper rub with baking powder (this helps the skin crisp up).

Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the wings and toss until they’re evenly coated.

Arrange for Baking:

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Place a wire rack over a baking sheet (this allows air to circulate for extra crispiness).

Arrange the wings in a single layer on the rack, leaving space between each one.

Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

Flip the wings and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the skin is golden, crispy, and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Optional Broil for Extra Crispiness:

For extra crispy wings, broil them on high for 2-3 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.

Serve:

Remove from the oven and let the wings rest for 5 minutes.

Garnish with fresh parsley or an extra sprinkle of rub for added flavor.
