World of Spice September 27 5:30pm – 8:00pm
Join us at the North Coast Food Web teaching kitchen where we will explore
the spices and flavors of Morocco. During this hands-on class you will
prepare bastilla, chicken tagine with preserved lemons and olives and couscous!

July 8 We will be hosting Naked Lemon’s pop-up bakery. Stop by to pick up some delicious baked goods and hear what the fabulous Aleesha will be up to next!
August 12 Local woodworker Dennis Thomas will be at the shop. He’s the guy who makes all our spice racks, cutting boards, salt boxes and knife racks. All from reclaimed wood, some that he finds while he is out surfing!
Book Signing Nov. 14 11:00 am- 2:00 pm
Local author, Muriel Jensen will be in the shop signing copies of her
newest book. All proceeds from books sold that day will go to the
Lindstrom family of Danish Maid Bakery. Light refreshments will

If you are looking to add more flavor to your food, learn more about using herbs and spices or want to expand your spice usage beyond salt and pepper than this class is for you. We will explore the difference between herbs and spices, discuss ways to get the most flavor from your spices, and provide tips on purchasing and storing spices. This class is complementary and starts at 6:00pm.

Have you heard the buzz about shrubs? Interested
in fermented foods and beverages? In this class you will
learn to make your own shrubs, taste a variety of shrubs
and take home recipes for mock-tails, cocktails, vinaigrette
and marinades made from shrubs. Fee $10.00
